First Trip to the Eye Doctor

As a six-year old, rapidly approaching seven, and with parents who have corrective lenses, we thought it best to get Josephine in to see the eye doctor.  Knowing this, I took her with me to my appointment back in July so she could see what the process was, though I didn't tell her why at the time.

I broke the news to her that she had to go see the doctor to make sure her eyes were healthy and can see properly.  Being the shy kid, she was not thrilled about the opportunity.

Nevertheless, she did a great job!

She has slight farsightedness, like most kids, and could grow out of it.  However, it is likely she will eventually need glasses, like her parents.
